A weekend in Turin

Two days are enough to experience Turin's highlights, as they sit close together in the city centre. This route spreads the main sights sensibly across two days, without rushing – leaving plenty of room for coffee, aperitivo and strolling under the arcades. All times are approximate.

Day 1 – Landmarks & Egypt

Start at Piazza Castello and step into the world of the House of Savoy at the Palazzo Reale. After a lunch break comes the Egyptian Museum – allow plenty of time here. Round off the day with an aperitivo on the elegant Piazza San Carlo.

Day 2 – The Mole, the Cathedral & the Po

The second day begins at the Cathedral with the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, then continues to the Mole Antonelliana with its cinema museum and viewing deck. In the afternoon, relax in the Parco del Valentino by the Po, before the evening winds down in the lively Quadrilatero Romano.
